Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston Travel for Charity

Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are raising money and awareness for charity -- in their own ways.
Jolie, 34, went to Haiti in her role as a UN Goodwill Ambassador to meet with hospitalized earthquake survivors and the president of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernandez.
"It is incredibly horrible to see a catastrophe of this size hit a people who have been suffering from extreme poverty, violence and unrest for so many decades," Jolie said in a statement.
Aniston, meanwhile, rented a $9,000-a-night villa at the luxe One & Only Palmilla resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for some fun in the sun ahead of her 41st birthday -- and to launch the Farita doll to benefit the Friends of El Faro organization, which supports the Casa Hogar Sion orphanage in Tijuana.
"You come to Mexico all the time and Mexico is really hurting right now because of the swine flu and the drug trafficking and all of this sort of stuff -- but it's not all of Mexico,'" Aniston -- who also recently showed off her home to Architectural Digest -- told Access Hollywood.
"These people survive on us coming down and spending money and coming here to these beautiful places," added Aniston, who has been showing off her bikini bod while hanging with The Bounty costar, Gerard Butler.
"It sort of made sense to sort of say 'Hey, let's help out Mexico,'" Aniston continued. "Let's shout out to these kids in Tijuana at El Faro and you know, that's sort of our birthday celebration this year."
