The 2010 Oscar nominations were announced Tuesday morning, and leading the pack of flicks are Avatar and Hurt Locker, with nine nominations each, including Best Picture.
Blind Side, An Education, Inglorious Basterds, Precious, A Serious Man, District 9, Up in the Air and Up also all received nominations in the Best Picture category, which now includes ten films instead of the usual five.
Sandra Bullock received her first Oscar nod for her role in The Blind Side, and will face up against Meryl Streep, Carey Mulligan, Gabourey Sidibe and Helen Mirren in the Best Actress category.
Golden Globe and SAG award winner, Jeff Bridges, also earned a Best Actor nod for his role in Crazy Heart. George Clooney, Colin Firth, Jeremy Renner and Morgan Freeman were also named in the Best Actor Race.
The 82nd annual Academy Awards air March 7 on ABC.
