SNEAK PEEK: Emma Watson’s New Eco-Clothing Collaboration
Tuesday, February 2, 2010 - Labels: Emma Watson - 0 Comments

As the reigning face of burberry, Emma Watson is already an established fashionista. And by the looks of it, Emma did not disappoint! Acting as a creative advisor, Emma helped the team at People Tree create a vibrant collection of knitwear for women and men, consisting of cotton T-shirts, jersey dresses, poplin skirts and shorts. And what’s more, Emma shows off her designs in a 36-page color catalogue for the label. “I wanted to help People Tree produce a younger range because I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to help alleviate poverty,” she says in a statement. “I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian and environmental issues surrounding fast fashion.” As such, 80% of Watson’s new line is made of 100% fair trade-certified cotton.
